MANUAL THERAPY
A form of physical therapy where a therapist uses their hands to manipulate, mobilise and massage the body tissues. This can help relieve pain and stiffness, improve blood circulation, help fluid drain more efficiently from parts of the body, improve the movement of different parts of the body, and promote relaxation
INJURY ASSESSMENT
An injury assessment at a sports therapy clinic is a detailed evaluation. It involves an initial consultation about the injury, a physical examination, functional and biomechanical analysis, and diagnosis. A personalized treatment plan is then developed, which may include exercises, manual therapy, and sports massage. The patient is educated about their injury and how to manage it at home. Follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed. The goal is to promote healing, restore sports performance, and prevent re-injury.
OSTEOPATHY
Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of health problems by moving, stretching, and massaging a person’s muscles and joints
